A professional CUT-40 plasma cutting inverter on an IGBT platform. It severs steel up to 15 mm thick, cuts any conductive material and lets you set torch post-flow to save consumables.

Description

The INFORCE CUT-40 plasma cutting inverter is intended for professional use.

The modern IGBT platform copes with higher voltage thanks to the extra headroom it provides. The post-flow time of the plasma torch after the cut can be set, which protects the torch from premature wear and saves on consumables. The machine suits any conductive material: all types of steel, copper and its alloys, and aluminum. Severance cutting thickness in steel is up to 15 mm. The machine requires a compressor delivering 170 l/min of air at a pressure of 4-5 bar. The torch cathodes have two working positions: if a cathode is worn on one side, it can be turned around and cutting continued. The front panel carries the knobs for cutting current and post-flow time after a session, together with indicators for power, overheating and fault. The lower part of the machine holds the torch socket and the return cable socket, with the torch control connector between them.
