Angle grinder AG9022S

The INFORCE AG9022S angle grinder is used for cutting and grinding hard materials. It has a powerful motor and an anti-vibration handle. The auxiliary handle can be fitted in three positions, and easy-open covers give access to the carbon brushes. Soft start:

• Safety: it removes the sharp jolt and the twisting torque at start-up. The tool does not tear out of your hands, which matters most with heavy 230 mm discs or when working in an awkward position.
• Tool protection: it sharply reduces shock loads on the gearbox and the bearings at the moment of start-up, extending the life of the grinder.
• Supply protection: it significantly lowers the inrush current, so the grinder can be run from extension leads and on weak supply circuits without tripping fuses or breakers.
• Convenience: start-up becomes predictable and controlled, and it is easier to keep the tool on the marked line at the beginning of a cut.

A lower support flange with radial knurling is a professional, purpose-built solution that improves reliability and safety with abrasive discs on a soft backing, flap discs above all. It sharply reduces the risk of the disc slipping on the spindle. This matters most under side loads, for example when sanding with a flap disc, where the disc works in bending, or when a cutting disc jams in the kerf. A lock-off trigger rules out accidental starting when the tool is carried, dropped or knocked, or if the trigger is pressed by accident while plugging in or fitting a disc.
